Port of Hamburg Internet presence further extended for international visitors

Following the successful development of the German and English-language Internet presence of www.portofhamburg.com, additional language versions have now been provided and ex-tended. Thanks to the new Hungarian page, with immediate effect all key market regions of importance to the Port of Hamburg in eastern Europe are available with country pages of their own; in addition to Hungary, countries like Russia, Poland and the Czech Republic are represented as well. Moreover, China, the most important trading partner of the Port of Ham-burg, now also has a language version of its own.

With its new design concept, Port of Hamburg Marketing presents general developments as they unfold in the port, along with traffic links and the wide range of services available from the companies operating in the port. Current news in the respective language serves to round off the range of services available.

The new pages have been decoupled from the German and English versions, focusing ex-clusively on the content of relevance to the respective market region. However, interested visitors do not need to dispense with the proven range of services available, such as the online liner departure database, the port industry handbook or statistics and photo archives – these pages are linked up with the English-language Port of Hamburg presence.

The new concept makes the Internet pages of the Port of Hamburg even more user-friendly for international visitors. The pages are maintained and translated by the Port of Hamburg Representative Offices in the various market regions.
