Hamburg has several specialized facilities for handling and storage of grain, Oilseed and feedstuffs. With Silo capable of taking 1 million tones Hamburg has one of the biggest grain storages of northern European ports.

A full range of specialized ancillary services for agribulk are on offer at the port. These include bagging and packing, cleaning and drying, as well as laboratory and quality control.
